Visa Procedure is different If you are applying to Consulate at Karachi OR directly to Embassy in Islamabad.For Karachi applicant visa procedure is rather simple and mentioned below:-

1-You will get visa after 2 months(8 weeks) of submission of visa applicationi...embassy let u know through courier service or telephone.....
2-Requirement for visa application include
a-all original educational documents.(only degrees like matric inter certificate n uni degree with transcript) & Acceptance letter from finnish university.
b-IELSTS original result.
c-band draft of 4500 PKR in the name of ( embassy of finland islamambad) only bank draft i.e. DD (demand draft)
d-original passport
e-Bank Statement in UR NAME not in sponser's name (atleast 5 lac PKR).
f-two application forms (residence permit + student visa) with ur photo id.
Remember u would get a schengen visa which is valid in all european union states..... :)
